Version 1.0.0 · Effective July 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how QuickParkPay+ ("QuickParkPay+", "we", "us", "our"), operated by ParkingPlus, collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you use our parking payment platform, mobile-optimized checkout, operator dashboards, enforcement tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Personal information

  • Name (when you create an account or contact support)
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number (only if you opt in to SMS notifications)
  • Billing details you provide to our payment processor

Vehicle information

  • Vehicle make, model, and color (optional)
  • Vehicle owner contact details (for monthly parking)

License plate information

  • License plate number and state of issuance
  • Plate-based session history at participating locations

Payment information

  • Payment card and digital wallet data (Apple Pay, Google Pay) are collected directly by our PCI-compliant payment processor. QuickParkPay+ does not receive or store full card numbers or CVV codes.
  • We retain non-sensitive transaction metadata — transaction identifier, amount, card brand, and the last four digits of the card — for reconciliation, receipts, and dispute handling.

Location information

  • The parking location associated with each session (e.g., the property or lot where you scanned a QR code).
  • Approximate IP-based geolocation for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting. We do not use GPS or continuously track your device.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your recent vehicle for one-tap checkout, secure the Service, and measure aggregate performance. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the Service is used in aggregate (page views, response times, error rates). Analytics data is not sold and is not used to build advertising profiles.

Device information

  • IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and device type
  • Request timestamps and referrer
  • Diagnostic data such as error logs and performance metrics

Account information

  • For operators, property owners, and team members: name, email, role, organization, and permissions.
  • Authentication events (sign-in timestamps, IP address, user agent).

2. Why we collect this information

  • To process parking payments and issue receipts.
  • To manage active parking sessions, extensions, and expirations.
  • To send transactional notifications you have requested.
  • To support enforcement at participating locations.
  • To reconcile revenue and settle funds with property owners and operators.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. How we use information

We use information solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, to provide the transactions you request, and to comply with applicable laws. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

4. How we protect information

  • Data is encrypted in transit using TLS.
  • Databases enforce row-level security so operators can only access data for locations they are authorized to manage.
  • Access to sensitive systems is restricted by role and requires authentication.
  • Payment card data is never stored on our servers — it is handled directly by our PCI-compliant payment processor.
  • We monitor for suspicious activity and log administrative actions.

No online service is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your information using industry-standard controls.

5. Third-party services

We share the minimum information necessary with vendors that operate the Service on our behalf. These vendors are contractually required to use information only to provide their services to us:

  • Square, Inc. — payment processing, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  • Cloud infrastructure provider — hosting, database, authentication, storage, and email delivery.
  • SMS provider — delivery of transactional SMS messages when you opt in.
  • Property owners and operators — session, plate, and enforcement data for the locations they manage.

Payment information is securely processed through our supported payment providers and is not stored directly by QuickParkPay+.

6. SMS messaging

QuickParkPay+ sends transactional SMS messages only when you explicitly opt in by entering your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box at checkout or in your account settings.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. We share your mobile phone number only with the SMS provider that delivers the messages you have requested, and only for that purpose.

Types of transactional SMS messages you may receive

  • Parking session reminders
  • Parking expiration alerts
  • Parking extension notifications
  • Payment confirmations
  • Reservation confirmations
  • Monthly parking notifications
  • Customer support communications

SMS terms

  • Message frequency varies depending on your parking activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS messages at any time.
  • Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We retain SMS consent records — including consent text, timestamp, IP address, user agent, and phone number — as required by messaging regulations. Opt-outs are honored promptly and stored as suppression records.

7. Your rights and choices

  • Access and portability — request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements below.
  • SMS opt-out — reply STOP to any SMS message or update your preferences in your account.
  • Email opt-out — unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in the footer of any email we send.

To exercise these rights, contact us. We will verify your identity before acting on requests that access or delete personal information.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Typical retention periods:

  • Parking session and payment records: 7 years (financial/tax requirements).
  • Enforcement and violation records: retained per the property's rules and applicable law.
  • SMS consent and opt-out records: retained for the duration required by messaging regulations.
  • Account records: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here with a new version number and effective date. Where you have an account, we will ask you to re-accept the updated policy before continuing.
